I’ve decided to create a blog only for my fashion divas drawings, so go follow because I’m going to post all my divas there, just to organize things on my main blog.
If you enjoy comics and fashion I can’t hype this new blog enough. Susana has created nearly 40! pieces of art featuring ladies of the DCU in awesome haute couture. She’s starting to feature Marvel characters as well.
I love the Comics Fashion Divas idea because I don’t think most people think comics and fashion can go hand-in-hand; more importantly, I think a lot of young women are pressured to see comics and fashion as entirely separate when that doesn’t have to be true. It’s OK to like both, separately and together!
After wearing yellow for the longest time, it was a little… difficult readjusting to wearing the color green.

tbqh, I can’t help but wonder if the movie had some influence on this turn of events -much in the same way Odin returned to ‘Thor’ and Iron Man became less of a jerk post-Civil War just before their respective movies came out- or if it was Geoff Johns’ plan the whole time (or both). I’m reserving further judgment until I’ve read all the trades.
Regardless, I’m not against character development so long as it’s part of the natural process. If everyone was exclusively good or evil, then stories in general would be very boring, now wouldn’t they?
